I was out of school almost all last week, and so my math teacher gave me the assignments I missed. He accidentally gave me the next class' homework too, so I had already done it when he assigned it. So he said that for my homework, I had to find the volume of my house! I guess that he doesn't realize that I don't live in a square box! I have a seven-sided livingroom and an eight-sided diningroom. The house itself is I think nine-sided. So this is no easy task, especially since we never went over in class how to find the area of irregular shapes.
So for example, my livingroom's sides measure 125", 94", 68", 49", 65", 50", and 156", and the ceiling is 9'2" high. How would I determine the volume of the room? Please don't just give me the answer I need to know how to do it! Thanks!
