The next three numbers in the series "4 6 5 7 6 8 7" are 9, 8, 10. The rule is add 2, then subtract 1, and repeat over and over.

you add two and subtract 1 so the next three tersm are 9, 8, 10
7+2=9
9-1=8
8+2=10
