My little brother has an extra credit problem in Social Studies that has me stumped:
"Explain four changes that took place in Europe during the 1400's and 1500's that led to the exploration of the Americas."
any suggestions?

Hi, Well I can tell you that Merchant Capitlism emerged in the 1400's European traders were looking towards the Atlantic Ocean instead of just at the Baltic and Mediterranean Seas. The Renaissancewas also swepping through Europe from the 1400's till about the 1600's. That had a huge impact on things.

this is the time of the Renaissance, there is much money coming in from trade with the East. Also, people are begining to realize that there is more in the world than what is already known. So, they begin to explore.
