First of all, just wanna tell you its NOT a school assignment so please reply only if you can be of some help.
I coudnt get this problem so i'm hoping someone could help me out.

A car travelling at 5m/s is being accelerated uniformly and passes over the next 300m in 30 secs. Calculate 1). the acceleration of the car, 2). the speed of the car at the end of 20 sec.

the answers are 1). 1m/s^2 2). 25 m/s

I've tried solving the problem but i'm not getting the right answer. Could someone please try this n show me the working??

Okay, I have some serious issues with quantum numbers! heres an example of one of my problems:

Draw an orbital diagram for Sulfur (this i can do) then give a full set of quantum numbers for the last electron in the 3rd energy level of the sulfur atom. so i know n=3 (3rd) and that s= negative 1/2 how do i know what l and m equal exactly (and not just l=0 to (n-1) and m is -l to +l?)

While I've been surfing around here recently, I've noticed that when a kid asks for help some answerer's feel the need to tell them that they should figure it out for themselves or learn better time management or some such bunk. I mean the topic here is "Homework Help", right?

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but, I thought the whole Internet thing was supposed to be a way for everyone to seek info and exchange ideas.
If you feel the need to blast someone, why not go to "Politics and Government" or "Religion and Spirituality" there are tons of nut cases there who you can verbally abuse.

This could be a great resource for students, but they won't use it if they always get flack. If you don't know the answer, can't you just leave the kid alone?

ive skipped art class for about a week now and i really want to drop it but i think its too late in the year to be switching to something else and if i just drop this class i wont be allowed to only have 2 classes and the minimum is 3..... how do i get out of this situation..this is highschool
