i hate math so i dont understand any of the algebra stuff....can you help me understand how to do this....
solve the system by elimination method:4x + 3y=13
3x - 3y=15
and then theres this one....
solve the system by subsitution:2x + y=9
3x +5y= -11

Since I WAY messed up last time, I'm retyping it:

In a two-digit number, the units digit is one less than twice the tens digit. If the digits are reversed, the new number is 20 less than twice the original number.

What's the original number? I'm working with substitution equations. So I need to have two equations and combine them. Could you also please show your work so that I can really understand it? Thanks everyone in advance. ^_^

I am so confused on my chemistry homework. I have to convert 32 g/mL to lb/gal using dimensional analysis. Does anyone know how to do it when you're converting 2 units? I know how to do it with one.
