I know the length and width, but not the height

If you have the object you measure it. If it is a cube or a rectangular prism, then you have the height. It should be the same as one of the others. If you don't have the height, but have the volume... then you divide the volume by the length and then the width, and then you have the height. If you have a different shape, let me know what it is and I can help further.

Unless you have some angles or some equivalence signs from which to determine the height, you cannot find the volume.
