I am homeschooling and in my senior year, but I still don't feel up to par in my own knowledge. I want to give myself about 6 months after graduating HS to assess my intelligence and see where I really want to take it. I'm well aware that I should have done this during my school years, but certain situations and the lack of proper guidance prevented me from focusing on my future goals. I wanted to know whether it would affect my success if I were to enter college a little later then most and how exactly could it affect my chances of getting into college?

Does anyone hate school as much as me? I mean I really hate it. I am homeschooled and I would rather be homeschooled then go to public but I still hate it. I think I just is a waste of time but I don't want to be stupid like some people I know.

My mother wants me to be homeshooled, because she says there are too many mean kids at school. I don't want to go to school at home with my mother. I want to play with kids my own age and take part in school activities.

he is adhd and i need help with his summer learning .he has been in the middle of a devorce and has been moving back and forth from florida and pa, for the last 4 years in one year he has been in 5 schools. so he is a bit behind and needs extera help in his math and readind and spelling is there any free sites for us parents to go to ? can any one help?

He is a vrey bright little boy (made honor roll entire year last year), but I have never homeschooled and want to make sure that I make it a positive experience for both of us, especially him. He has health issues and winds up missing a lot of school. Besides the fact that so many teachers are now in it for an "easy" check and not because of a true desire to touch the lives of a child. Where do I start? I need/want all the advice and tips or techniques that I can get. Thank you in advance.

BTW - I am looking for sincere answers and not someone telling me that I am making a mistake or I am ruining my child's life, etc, etc. Like I said, my son has health issues and misses a lot of school. He will get plenty of socialization through other activities.

My sister is 17 and has dropped out of school. She got pregnant when she was 15; had the child when she was 16. She has kept saying she is going to go back to school, but still has not. I'm very worried about her future. I feel if she can go to school online than she can stay home with the baby. That way she will not have to worry about having to put him in day care, work, and go to public school at the same time. The father lives with them, but he doesn't even work. If you know of any online schools she can attend let me know.
