I am a home educator looking for a practical approach to teaching a dyslexic child. This would be the form of dyslexia dealing primarily with numbers. I would be interested in a link or just some basic idea's or experience. Thanks!

I am in the process of adopting a 6 year old girl. I am a single parent, but my employer is open to her coming to work with me as long as I have no meetings (I spend most of my time at work doing research and paperwork in a private office) and get my work done of course.

I am thinking about doing instruction in the evenings, letting her do paperwork in the mornings at my office and then having a nanny pick her up after lunch and take her to whatever activities she has scheduled in the afternoon. Would this work or am I better off sending her to a private school?

Before anyone says it. My daughter will attend public school over my dead body.
