the high school exit exam is a total waste of time and resources. a student that has stuck school out through 12th grade derserves the right to graduate wether or not he passes a test that was never forced on past generations of high school grads.
and let's get one thing straigt, it is not the teacher's fault if the students pass this test or not. it was the student's decision to remain ignorant of math and language skills. although, one would have to be damn near retarded to fail the exit exam, i still feel sorry for those who have even though they fufilled all othe necessary requirements for graduation.

NO, NO, NO.
1. There are enough exams already.
2. This exam will help no one but the testing company and the
system people who get the kickback. Teacher can't use
because the kid is aged out. Employers will retest anyway.
College will retest and already have massive remedial
programs in place.
3. Kids who have made grades and honors have no reward
whatever. Kills incentive.
4. It bypasses teacher as system professional once again.
That is, makes teacher grade not critical, kills incentive.
Why don't you have an exit exam for each grade folks????
See What I Mean VERN!!.

Yes. In our country right now a high school diploma isn't really worth much. If we were required to take an exit exam the people who just "party through" wouldn't get the diploma others work really hard for.

the completed theory of a unmarried bypass/fail attempt for 'each and every thing' it quite is taken by using anybody looks dumb to me. i imagine the Brits have a extra acceptable equipment, the position you're taking checks for various topics, not an universal commencement. and also you may end college at 16. assume you won't be able to stand college. you want to be out earning income and earning a ability. You concentration on passing English and Math. You line up an apprenticeship with a company. they could choose you to bypass another situation, like technological know-how. yet you've sparkling aims and an incentive to study the fundamentals with no need to post with each and every of the non-tutorial nonsense that makes severe college a acceptance contest, not a attending to comprehend corporation. So, till we drop this dumb theory that anybody needs to stay in college till they are 18 (you in ordinary words opt to stay in college till you've the attending to comprehend you want to make a commence on making YOUR way in the international) then particular, enable anybody walk.

Not really, it's a waste of taxpayers' resources to spend money on someone who doesn't want to learn. Also, with all the time spent at school, our future generations of janitors won't be ready soon enough.
