"Would you chill out" basically just means to relax. You can enter verb idioms on www.dictionary.com and click "Thesaurus" and then it will give you good synonym suggestions so you can look for similar words that aren't idioms. I use that all the time when writing essays and papers because it's improper to use idioms and they're all I can think of. Good call on that, many people don't know that. Many people also don't seem to know what an idiom is lol. (For future reference: An "idiom" is when you need two words in order to make one verb and it cannot be broken down to one word to get the same effect. Like "chill out," "calm down," "take off," and more. And now you know!)

Definately check out www.dictionary.com, it's more than just a dictionary, it can help a lot!
