I'm a teacher, and I have had students mispronouce my name so many times because it is hard. I really don't care, and sometimes I have to laugh, because some of the ways they pronouce it are original. I'm sure your teacher will not be upset. Just try and work on pronouncing it correctly the next time.

Even teachers have trouble pronouncing their students' names at times.

As a teacher myself, I have noticed my own tendency to punish students who miss pronounce my name.

Last year a boy called me Mr. Janglepussnobbybean and I cut him in two with a butter knife.
