I live in the minneapolis area and want to find etiquette or deportment classes; how to talk how to walk manners that kind of thing... I know they exist for younger children, but i'm trying to find ones for adults. I've checked the net and come up blank if anyone could help that would be awsome.

I am trying to learn some French. I have learned individual words and want to string them together in a sentence. Most of the words begin with la or le (la mere, le gateu, le portable , le tennis, le television, le jour, la tete etc.) I was wondering, when you string the words together in a sentence, can you drop the la or le part for instance if you would like to say something like hi mom, do you have to say Bonjour La mere or can you just say Bonjour Mere,. Or when you call someone a cabbage head, Do you have to say Le chou La tete or can you just say chou tete?

So basically, what I'm trying to say here is when you string French words into a sentence can you drop the La or Le part? Thanks for any answers.

My GPA in my first years of undergraduate study were a B average. I suffered some hardships in my sophomore year, which caused my GPA to drop tremendously. However, in my last 60 hours of undergraduate study, I have managed to achieve around a 3.5. This actually shows that I have overcome a lot. How should I word this in my personal narrative without being too detailed about my hardships? How will the grad admissions board view it, especially when a professor can talk about what I have overcome also?

Most people before have told me no, and i think thats the right answer. Because parents threaten ' If i catch you smoking i'll make you smoke a cigar and inhale the entire thing!' Last time i inhaled it made me a little sick, but you get used to it, so are you supposed to inhale or not?

I tried to create a new dictionary, but either Word fails to recognize it, or defaults to its original dictionary. I want something that will flag me when I have written a word that is not in the dictionary. Any ideas?
