College Tips??

im going to college this fall
i just want input
on everything from conserving space and decorating
to studying tips

decorating and conserving space, best done with posters and organizing everything under your bed. just don't get lazy with your stuff. i usually get lazy though, and its not very good. i've never been a big fan of decorating but posters are the way to go, things that hang on the way are the easiest and best way in my mind

studying tips - don't study in front of your computer or around anything distracting. go somewhere quiet where you can concentrate on work. make sure you get enough sleep at night. go to classes, do your homework, do that, you'll be fine.

most importantly though, don't forget that college should be the best 4 years of your life. don't screw yourself by partying all the time, but don't forget to enjoy your time, find lasting friendships, discover the world, discover yourself. don't leave with any regrets.

Don't fall into the skipping trap. Many people do and that's how you flunk. Go to class, take good notes, do your homework, study a couple days before the exam if you can so you're not cramming and stressed out.

Decorating, umm...take pictures of friends and family for when you miss them. I think I had some posters too. Nothing too fancy.

Don't take anything too valuable since unless you live alone you never know who's in your room (with your roommate) and if they're trust worthy.

Talk to your roommate about who's bringing what so you don't have duplicates of big things. Little space means the less duplicate stuff the better!

I'm going too. Save space by purchasing a lab top. Forget about t.v. it takes up too much space and you'll have no time for that anyhow. Decorating is kind of a random thing you just have to flow with. Pick up a magazine. Any magazine really. As for studying tips, manage your time. For each class you take you'll need two to three hours of study time. (stay away from hard liquor.) (drugs) that won't help at all. Hope this helps. Good luck with your future endevors!

1. Don't miss class, or you'll keep doing it.
2. Don't drink too much at parties.. or you will get raped!
3. Use Protection!
4. Use Pale, but happy colors in your room. Yellows, Greens, Purples. They help you relax!
5. Have fun.. this is the best time of your life!!!
