I will be in Toronto, Ontario on Thanksgiving. I will be in the downtown area without a car. If there's any place in Niagara Falls, that would be o.k., too.

We have tried, George, North 44, Centro, Bymark we liked them all, looking for something new. It doesn't have to be stuffy- but a good atmosphere and great food.

The tipping protocol scares me. Do I tip the maitre d' separately from what I will add to the bill? If so, how is that accomplished? Will he be expecting something as he seats us? Etc, etc?
Please help.
