It depends Where in the city you are talking about. I work right downtown just off of Yonge Street near College, and I love all kinds of food from all over the world. There is a great place just south of Wellesley street on Yonge called "The Bowl" It is Asian with a slant towards Thai. They have a $6.95 lunch special to die for and it includes a drink. The atmosphere is upscale with a water wall inside. Highly recommended.

At Yonge just north of Dundas on Gould Street there is a Wicked restaurant called "Salad King".... don't know why it's called that, it does not even sell salad...., BUT totally awesome and almost all under $10! Line ups should be expected!

Tell us what area, and I Will for sure have more suggestions!

Orwell's Pub at Islington and Bloor has really tasty food. Their bruschetta and wings rock. If you like suicide sauce on your wings, try theirs.
