I will be in Toronto, Ontario on Thanksgiving. I will be in the downtown area without a car. If there's any place in Niagara Falls, that would be o.k., too.

As you probably know, Canadians don't celebrate Thanksgiving on the same day that Americans do.

American Thanksgiving is on November 23rd, and the Canadian one is on October 9th this year.

I would imagine that it would be easier to find a restaurant in Canada that is celebrating American Thanksgiving in a boarder-town like Niagara Falls. Try some of the bigger hotels and Casino Niagara for dinner.

If you will be in Toronto, your best bet would be in the larger Hotels that cater to international travelers like yourself. My suggestions are:

All of these places are accsessable without a car.

Hope you have a great Thanksgiving!

There is a place on Queens Quay, called the "Town and Country Buffet", they are very reasonable and you can get there by taking the bus down on Bay St to the turn around at Jarvis, it is near the overpass at Lakeshore Blvd.

Most of the Hotels serve a Thanksgiving type dinner, but as far as being American, not to likely in Canada, although after being a chef for 20 years there very suitable differences, you won't get sweet potatos, we call them yams, but most of the items are similar.

Call ahead to the nicer hotels, or look on their websites. They usually all serve a nice traditional Thanksgiving dinner.
