I have a game that freezes up, and I have to manually shut down the 360, however when I shut it down it grinds the disk. I bought the 360 on ebay so I don't have a warranty or anything. Is there anything I can do about this?

how can i convince my mom that i want an xbox or ps2. the only systems i have are super nes and gameboy advance. i have wanted a new system for many years. im planning on buying either xbox or ps2 myself i havent decided. many years ago my mom said i couldn't have them. then she said she didn't care if i bought it myself as long as she wasn't paying for it. she told me that i am attached to the computer all the time. i can do both. do you think i could say that to her next time i mention it. what do i do if she keeps saying no?

Playing movies on your PS3 will wear it down faster than you can blink. I had a PS2, xbox and GC. I had the PS2 first, and I quickly realized after my first system that to play games and movies wears the motors to nothing. The games are always spinning and starting and stopping just to play any decent games.

I am looking into buying a halo game for chirstmas and i am wondering which one would be better for split-screen with just playing on the xbox with friends. I think halo 2 would be better but i did not know if they changed the split screen around. i remebered halo 1 being fun with 2 player. help me out pls.

whats up with that, it's not that i have one, but ive played the cube and it's pretty fun, i dont see anything wrong with it. and what about the Wii? why dont people like that? oh and whats with all the hype about ps3? sure it's got blueray and a 60mb hardrive, (big deal) but does anyone actually care? i mean GAME consoles are for playing games, you know having fun. it's not about adding extra picture quality or anything, why wont we just keep our Xboxs' and ps2, nothing wrong with those. opinions?

600$ yes i have the right to complain,. I find it unfair many people love games and the systems for games are getting more pricey each time, soon only the rich can have a lot of that stuff. i almost didnt get the PS2 for Christmas due to money issue's....so i know i won't be able to afford the PS3....by the time i can afford they will have a new system out and the PS3 is nothing. Sony when they get a new game system out, stop making games for the other systems, this happened with the PS1 after PS2 came out they stopped making games for one....or at least made a few for it, this is how it might be when PS3 comes out

Can you advise me on best one to get (I have no knowledge of this at all!). It's for my boyfriend who is old enough to know better, he liked games like Mario and Sonic when he was a youngster, and I'd appreciate advice on what to buy, and good accessories, and a couple of good games.
