This is a message I sent out to T-mobile UK 10 minutes ago. They will take a week to reply, let's see if one of you guys can reply quicker and actually help!

I have am currently on the Everyone 750 offpeak (18month) price plan. I have using a Motorola V3 Razr (Silver) which I obtained through an o2 contract a couple of years ago. I want use use WAP (GPRS) and send picture messages but keep getting a message saying 'connection unsuccessful, try again later'. I have got the t-mobile settings required and have set the correct details. I have even tried manually entering the settings, but still the same response.

I am quite tech-savvy, I have unbranded my phone through P2K software & also know how to use seem editors. My phone is in an unblocked state and I can't see any reason for not being able to establish a connection to your wap service. Can you tell me what I can do to get around this problem?

Thanks.

I'm looking at used cell phones on eBay and I'm wondering why some say they will work in my area and some won't even though they are the same service provider (ie. 2 identical phones, both from Verizon, but I'm in CA and the phone from NY will work but the one from WI won't...) What gives?

Oh, and what does 'unlocked' mean in reagrds to cell phones and why is that important when buyinga used cell phone?

The phone is in my name, and hasn't been paid on in over 3 months. The bill is currently at 1,000 dollars and I have no way to contact him because the phones are shut off. He ran up the bill month after month with text messaging and told me over and over that he would pay me, but never did. Another reason I can't get ahold of him is because he is enlisted in the Army and last I knew he had reported to boot camp, but I am unsure of when he will be returning. I have tried contacting his parents, but they ignored my letters. I need help, this is putting a hurting on my credit.

It's a Sony Ericsson K600i and I want to take the front off.

Reason being, my 17 month old son got a hold of it while I wasn't looking, and gave it the full chew and drool treatment. Now, a few of the buttons won't work.
I'm not eligible for an upgrade until July, and I'm out of warranty, so a bit of guerilla phone maintenance seems to be in order.
The screws are ickle baby star shaped jobbies. I went to local focus, bought a cheap set of screwdriver bits, but the smallest star shaped on isn't small enough.
Had a quick look on screwfix.co.uk but I'm not sure of the sizes.
Anyone help?

I live in BC, Canada and I am preparing to move (staying in BC). I have a wireless laptop and phone service provided by Telus. I pay about $80 for phone/highspeed internet plus whatever long distance charges. So it is always over $100. I'm looking to lower costs and am planning to get rid of my residential phone line and just use my cell phone when I move to my new place. What I need to know is what internet provider comes most recommended. I love my highspeed connection and have only used Telus, I don't know anything about the quality of other service providers. Pls. help!
