Cell Phones & Plans - March 2007

My phone is broken, along with its Sim Card. Is it possible to replace the sim card without paying? I know I have to go and call the company, but does it cost money? Do I just go and ask them? Or what? Thanks.

My sister decided that my wife, my mother, and myself should have a cell phone about 6 months ago. Between 3 people sharing a plan she decided that 500 minuets would be plenty. Of course it wasn't and I tried to tell her we couldn't afford a cell phone but she got all of us one any way. So now our cell phone bill is over $1700 because they charged us 3 termination fees for non-payment plus all of the minuets we used. I have tried to figure out a way that we could get the bill down but the cell phone company just won't help out at all. I am in no situation to pay an outrageous bill like that so I am trying to find a loop hole or something that will help get that bill down as far as possible. Does anyone know of any tricks or advice that would be useful to me? Oh, the cell phone company is Cingular Wireless.

ok i bought a razr off of ebay and it wont get on the internet or send multi media messages but everything else works fine... i would like to buy another phone but i need to know how to send and recieve multi media messages and i have cingular...

The side buttons on my cell phones (to turn ring tone up or down or to vibrate) doesn't do anything when I press them, this just started happening does anyone know what might be wrong?

PS last night my phone was dead for quite a while (ran out of batteries) and the up and down buttons along w 2 and 8 didnt work as well but i recharged my phone and now they work. Its just the buttons on the side.

I heard that Cingular was going to up their rates or did up their rates for text messages from $.10 to $.15 and that this was going to be breach of their contract. I was wondering if this was true and if i would be able to get out of my contract.
