I signed up with the Network Solutions Pro Ecommerce package for my new webstore and I am in the designing phase, but I have no idea how the wysiwyg tool works. I know that it is suppose to function like Microsoft Word, but I have only used Word for simple letter writing, not designing. I am totally lost. Can anyone explain how to import graphics like photos or point me to a site that has instructions? I would like to design the header and add some photos, but don't have a clue. Help!

Thanks to all!

Requesting answers that will be intuitive to a programming semi-illiterate.

In .NET programming speak (in VB context, if/where it matters), what is meant by:

- (to) cast

- reflection

In the (instructional) phrase "cast to an interface that the type implements", what is meant by:

- interface

- type

In noob-speak, what would the entire phrase mean?

And what is meant by "strong-typed (reflection)"? What about "not-strong-typed"?

Other terms needing clarification:

- form control ID

- business object

- business object property name

I'll choose a best answer within one day's time.

Thanks!!

Scott

I have a column named "address". worker's addresses is written in here. i want to search for address column but with "WHOLE WORD" technique.

for example, suppose that, there is the address:
"abc street, def road no:21"

when i use that command:
select * from Table1 where address LIKE 'ab'

it gives the above address, because of abc street.

but i don't want to get that result, because there is no "ab" in that address. in other words, i want to search a "whole word" in the address.

in other words, to get this result, the user must type "abc" not "ab".

what command should i use for that? i am a newbie in asp. if you can help me it will be gladly appreciated.

I am planning to learn Flash/Actionscript also some asp.net. I was told to forget about java because there is 5 million programmers to compete with. Do you guys think Flash & asp.net are good bets and that the demand is still great? I will hate to learn a technology and find out there are too many people applying or looking for a job for that same technology. Thx.

I've made a list of links and defined the active link, so people know what link they've just pressed and ergo, what page they are on (nice!). However I link these to different pages with the same navigation bar, but the active state doesn't get recognised because the page is new and refreshed, defeating the purpose of active links (stupid!). What is the workaround for this problem, and is there a way to do this without any scripting. If scripting is needed can it be done with php includes? Little help.
