I am trying to put together a website..and I tried downloading some templates for it but I don't know how to put them up properly..HELP?

The best, easy and free web templates i use is www.freelayouts.com
They have a massive selection of templates to use, and the template includes help files (very simple to understand) on how to install the template.

If you have to program it urself, use freewebs, downgrade to HTML mode, and program the pages. If you don't have to program it (unlikely), freewebs has tools for that. If you have to code, but are deciding not to, you'll fail; it is easy to see when you have coded and when you have not (simply look at source code).
