I set up GregorianCalendar so that I have two methods, minute, and hour. I have also created a Graphics 2D program that looks like a clock with an hour hand and minute hand. How do I get the hour hand and minute hand to move to the corrrect area on the clock without writing 72 if statements? Is their a way to use angles somehow? (I used drawString to draw the minute and hour hands.) Thanks

I was wondering if there was a maximum amount of data that could be sent via cookies. I want to send a large amount of data between ASP pages. The amount will vary. I was wondering if cookies were the best approach to do this.

When I compose a question, and then click next to post it on the web. Then the "Suggested categories" are listed and i wonder how exact the categories are suggested.
Do you have any ideas how it's done?

I am struggling to make my name/email form work on my web site. I've been working on it for days now and am quite frustrated. I have very little knowledge of php or anything beyond static html, so I'm probablly screwing up some basic step.

I need to create a program where my customer pays for an item. I would input how much owed and how much money was received. Then I would click the calculate button to display the change in label boxes. If the change would be $5.23, I would like $5 to appear in the dollar label box, . 20 in the dime label box and .03 in the pennies label box. I know taking the value and converting it to a single variable would output the dollar amount of 5 in the dollar label box. Its quarters, dimes, nickels,and pennies that stump me

I'm done with Globat. I am looking for hosting that doesn't charge extra if I want to add domains.

I want to pay one low fee, and be able to have as many domains as possible. I also want to install dolphin communities. Please help.

For better system wide compatability I decided that it would be more efficient if i used a animated gif graphic to make a link.
So when the user puts their mouse cursor over the graphic it expands with a sub menu. And so I guess what Im asking is can I have 3 links in that submenu even though its a gif.

So far I have a design like this...

Simple, so that the user can input hours the employee started, and finished work. Good thing is, this has nothing to do with wages, just hours.

The only thing is, I can't figure out how to make it go past the 12 hour. Meaning if someone worked from 7AM to 4PM, what code would I enter for it to calculate that, with the lunch hour taken (minus an hour), also the digit part, as 12 changes to 1.

I understand from 7-12, since I would just make it increase 5, but once it changes over to 1, my numbers get all messed up. I also understand that after a time is entered for "In-Time" and "Out-Time" for a day, a new value must be created with those hours added up, even though it won't be displayed. And from there, I would take those newly created values, and add them up for the "Total Hrs.". I'm trying to do this for my boss who has trouble with computers big time.

I am trying to learn Php. Today I installed the Apache Http Server 2.2 on my Windows XP system. I then installed Php-5.2.1-win32.zip.

Currently if I go to http://localhost/ it displays the "it works" screen for apache but I created a simple file called hello.php and saved it to the htdocs dir. however when I try to open the site http://localhost/hello.php it just gives a blank screen.

Anything extra I need to do or what am I doing wrong?

Hi. So I've done a fair amount of html coding, and I'm familiar with optomizing an html site for search engines using the META tags for description, author, and keywords. Is there a similar thing that can be done in an XML file? Would I simply use META tags exactly as in html, or is it different?

Ive tried several times to teach myself c++ and I start out strong but get frustrated when dealing with more complex topics especially pointers, working with data, classes, and other stuff. I feel like I need someone who knows what theyre doing to talk to when I get frustrated. plus I'd like someone to give me tasks that Im capable of coding. I don't know any programmers so this is frustrating. i really feel i need to talk to someone rather than post on a message board, is there anything out there that i could use?? aside from college.
