There's a picture of what I need the listbox to look like, but I can't seem to get it to format like that with the spaces and indentations. I thought I had to use zones but they aren't working, what's the best way to format output like this?

Are there better server side languages than php, and which is easiest to learn?

2007-02-22 05:43:50 · 1 answers · asked by Anonymous

Have experience in PHP, HTML, javascript, and interfacing SQL with the aforementioned. What I'm looking for is something that wouldn't be too far of a leap from those languages mentioned but would be a good place to start as far as desktop applications go.

I've heard Visual Studio Express and .NET are wonderful places to start, but are they free?

Any ideas, resources, or tutorials would be greatly appreciated. :)

My font settings are at 8 but my report still requires legal size paper
but I need to shrink it to letter size (without using the xerox).
I tried the printersettings at print time to select reducing the report.
the text came out reduced but the borders and lines stay at there original settings.
Is there a command I am overlooking that will help?

I sent a pagemaker file to a friend and she said that she can't open it because I sent it as a pmd file and she wants me to rather send it as a pdf. The thing is that if I export the file as an adobe pdf, it asks me to install postscripts to the driver. So how do I send the file as pdf or how do I install postscripts?

Is it possible to create an editable PDF using Formatting Objects?
I want to be able to let my users be able to download a PDF template from
the web. Then I want them to populate certain fields in the PDF document,
and save that PDF. When they upload that PDF again, I want to read their
input and update my DB. (Since there is a lot of fields to be updated which
would take several hours, I can't have them do this in the same Web
session, hence the need for them to do this offline.)

I am a web designer working under a marketing manager and I am use to being told what graphics to put up and how graphics should look, but there are times that a marketing manager just does not get color schemes and how they work together and what weight line should be used. How to do you influence some one with no design experience and lead them down the path of good solid design?
