I belong to a forum that had one main designer who took signature requests and did most of the graphics for everybody. Now me and some other relatively new members have also started creating our own graphics, avatars, and signatures. I am having a lot of fun doing this.

The thing is, some of these other members have already gotten requests to make signatures also. I have gotten compliments for my graphics from the main designer and other members, but have not gotten any requests.

What can I do to become more visible and noticed as a graphics designer, so that other people will ask me to make signatures for them? I realize that I can do it the direct way by posting a thread stating that I am taking requests, but I prefer not to do that until I have worked on some informal requests from the members and gotten more feedback. I would appreciate advice on how I can "market" myself. Thanks.

Well, doing a project for web page design, but can't find a big enough background, and need to fix it in the back so it doesn't scroll, but we don't learn CSS, I know there's a short code to do it, can anyone please say what it is? ^^:

What would you suggest as a language to learn in depth. I have been programming in C++ for a while now, and am at a point where I want to decide which would be better to use. I'm most likely going into the game development field if that helps.

One day i was trying to get a new theme and i saw one that said "no theme" so i tried that one now the whole account things are black and the text is too and you cant see any of the highlited text how do i restore it to original?oh yeah and when you right click you cant see the things

is there any way that you can add your name and a logo(like some p.c manufacturers do) in the system properties general tab window
i just wondered as i have started to build a few systems a month for private sales and if i could design a logo and put it on the windows i install it would look a bit more proffesinal
i know this is a long shot but there must be a way as like i said..companys like infinity,mesh and evesham all include their logos on the system properties window
any ideas?

and I want to take it off and can't figure out how to. When I first start up my computer it showes the picture. When it set as background it didn't give me a destination to store the picture. I have windows 2000 professional.
I have looked on my disk c and its not listed in my display backgrounds.

My webhosting provider only allows me to have one MySQL database. I have wordpress using it, but I also want a photoviewer called gallery 2 to utilize the database as well. They both require MySQL databases, but I want to know if I can set them up to use the same database and have them work okay. Can this be done?
