how do I make a picture big AND WITH high resolution using the GIMPSHOP (its like photoshop)?

NOTE: I am a total beginner at this... I've looked at the help sites and anything I could fint but I havn't found anything with a SIMPLE explination on how to go about doing this. This will give it a better visual appeal coz right now the tubes are too thin. Secondly, where a value is zero, it is shown as a small round feature on the floor of the chart, how do I remove this small feature so that where a value is zero, nothing appears at all on the floor of the chart? A few of us are planning to do a power point presentation for our Favorite Teacher's birthday. She's in her 60s I think. Is there any user friendly programs out there that can render simple morphings or "rain" effects? ( ie: Morphing her from young to present or like a shower of flowers or gold particles) We are mostly minimal in computer knowledge, able to use photoshop for enhancing and cleaningup images, thats about it. Any help please? Much appreciated... thx in advance.

Well, whoever ever gives me the best answer(meaning an answer that fulfills my wish...I am willing to give no best answer) will then be selected as best answer and then I will ask another random question in the same category. This person would then answer there and be selected again regardless of their answer.

So. Here's the deal:

I have a myspace webpage.
I also have links.
I want the links to have a "hover" image onmouseover. An image that hovers over the link when you move your mouse over it.
This is all I want...but remember, it's on myspace. So that means no javascript, unless there is a way around it that I don't know about it.

I would prefer to know to do this in the simplest way possible. If it is not that simple, please explain it for me so I can understand.

I know html pretty well, but I'm just getting into CSS.

I need to find out how to program applications (as opposed to DOS) in C++. I use MS .NET, and I have downloaded several examples, but the lessons are confusing, and it would take too long to figure it out from the examples. Could anyone direct me to a website (or even a textbook) that tells you how to do this?

I edited an extremely insultingly inaccurate article on w. My results appeared for a little bit, but two hours later I checked back to the page, and it’s back to its original state. But it doesn’t look like the person changed it again, because everything is word for word, and why would someone erase my more accurate edited version of the article? Also, the original article was written quite a while back so it’s pretty unlikely that the original author was able to catch it that soon. What’s going on here? I know I shouldn’t get too upset because pretty much the whole website is slanted or inaccurate. But I just wanted to defend the dignity of the subject.

l have been endulging in XHTML and l have this question. l know using the strict version as opposed to the transitional etc it is not supposed to from what l am gathering to accept errors in the coding. What confuses me is that l took a very brief and basic code that was correct XHTML and l took that same code and put some errors in it. l transfered both files onto the net and they both show the same. Why doesn't the bad coding not show or not show properly. l named the one file, good.html and the second bad.html and they both show in an identical manner. This throws me as l was expecting the bad not to show properly. Can anyone help me with this. l know HTML extremely well and wanted to test the viewing capabilities. l simply changed a couple of the
