NOTE: I am a total beginner at this... I've looked at the help sites and anything I could fint but I havn't found anything with a SIMPLE explination on how to go about doing this. If you cant help me, then please provide me with a computer help site where I can talk to a proffecional for free AND without signing up or registering for anything.

thank you.

Now, I COULD be wrong about this, but as I understood it back in school, you cannot change a resolution to be higher than it was originally, when the photo was taken. Sure, you can make the picture bigger, but you will lose quality in it.

Now, taking a large picture and making it smaller, you will retain the resolution.

As I said, I could be wrong,so I hope you get more answers and I can compare :)

you don't need to search for the free sites on the internet. Just go to help section on the menu bar of GIMSHOP and type in your question. For changing the size of your picture you can go to Edit>image size and change the size of the picture can well as the resolutions. However, making it bigger will decrease the quality of the image.

GOOD LUCK!

If you start with a small picture and blow it up really big, its gonna look pixelated. You can't add resolution to it.
