This will give it a better visual appeal coz right now the tubes are too thin. Secondly, where a value is zero, it is shown as a small round feature on the floor of the chart, how do I remove this small feature so that where a value is zero, nothing appears at all on the floor of the chart? Thank you mates.

let me see, to make the tubes thicker double click on one of the bars, this will give you the format data series go to option select option the put the gap to zero and the overlap to whatever you want. as for your second question i don't think you can; you have to put a value there. hope this helps.

To increase the width of the bars - go to Format...Format Data Series. On the Options Tab window decrease the Gap width. The only way that I know to eliminate the small marking of zero values is to change the colour of the line and area to none (but if the value changes it still won't be seen until you reapply the colour).

Hope this helps

To make the columns wider go to the top of the spreadsheet put your curser on the lines between columns and drag to the right this should make them wider. Second half not sure. but you will get the columns wider the way described. I would also go to microsofts website and post the question on a board there or look at the faq page. another otion is Excell for dummies You know all the dummy books that have it for word, excell, powerpoint etc... here are a couple other places you can look.

Oy mate, you can adjust column and row size on the FORMAT pull down menu - use ROW to adjust row and COLUMN to adjust column.

As for the "small feature on the floor of the chart", you must have turned something on that does that, mine doesn't, so I can't help you with that. See if you have some sort of summing feature on or something. Who set up the chart in question? That person ought to be able to help you turn the unwated feature off.
