Internet - March 2007

I need to find someone who can volunteer to help me with a website redesign project. The preson needs to know PHP and mySQL. Web 2.0 knowledge a plus. It doesn't require onsite work. I am a designer and I have been helping a publishing company (NGO) to redesign their website. I don't have enough skills to manage the backend structure and to integrate it with the new design. Where can I find someone who can either do some part time volunteer work or to tutor me to get the job done?

I bought a Logitech webcam.
It has a built-in-microphone, and when I was talking to someone on AIM, it worked. They could hear me breathing and typing.
On MSN, [and that's where I would need it to use] they couldn't hear anything.
Is there something I need to adjust, or install something?
I know for a fact it's something with MSN.
Out of 4 people, two could hear me. They were on AIM, and the ones that couldn'y hear me were on MSN.

Thanks anyway.
I'm more likely to be happy with someone who has MSN Messenger and a webcam, meaning I'd like someone with EXPERIENCE.

Do you think there are too many weird peopleo n the internet and in chat rooms? I think so, my mother (keep in mind I'm 13) was telling me about some strange people that she has met in chat rooms, etc. She also said a few people in a chat room where she normally is started asking if they could have sex with her daughter (aka me) because they all know she has a 13 year old daughter (but nothing more then that). After she said that I began to think, and I relize I have encountered alot of pedophilesand sex addicts, and just plain weird people. Do you think the government and police department should start monitering peoples chat logs and interveiw and possibly arrest adults who ask to cyber, meet etc ,with teenagers and other adults, to help make the internet safer?

Each time that I open I.E. it says that it has encountered a problem and need to close. 9/10 it does this. Its becoming annoying and it had been happening for a long time. I do have the latest edition of I. E. and even downloaded it again and re installed it.

For a refund, he agreed and said that I would be receiving a return shipping label soon and once I return the violin my money would be refunded. A few days later I got another violin from them and for some reason my money was refunded. Now on My Ebay it says Pay Now beside the item. What do I need to do?

I am building my second website. I am building it with Flash 8, Dreamweaver 8, Photoshop 9CS2, and ColdFusion MX04. Those are the main titles I'm using. My current method of building, is to build the whole site in Photoshop, and then splice it with ImageReady, save it as HTML, and connect all the links with Dreamweaver...so far, it's working great..100% But I want to insert flash, in some of my pages. The link above, will be inserted into a page. I am doing it in dreamweaver. How can I link the links in the flash movie, to the page links I have in dreamweaver? Does this make any sense?

Thanks for any help.

BTW, I'm 15 yrs old, if there are any other young pc guys out there, I'd like to meet yah.

She needs something that's 1)easy to add pictures to, 2) allows comments, and 3)allows ads. (She's not looking to make much money but she has friends that would like to have ads on her site.)

* Nothing looks easier than Tumblr, but it doesn't allow comments.
* Vox looks easy too, but I can't tell if they allow ads.
* Typepad looks interesting but slightly complicated.
* Blogger looks good but I hear a lot of problems with reliability.
* LiveJournal and Wordpress both appeared more complicated at first glance too.

Love to hear your experiences!
