Do you think there are too many weird peopleo n the internet and in chat rooms? I think so, my mother (keep in mind I'm 13) was telling me about some strange people that she has met in chat rooms, etc. She also said a few people in a chat room where she normally is started asking if they could have sex with her daughter (aka me) because they all know she has a 13 year old daughter (but nothing more then that). After she said that I began to think, and I relize I have encountered alot of pedophilesand sex addicts, and just plain weird people. Do you think the government and police department should start monitering peoples chat logs and interveiw and possibly arrest adults who ask to cyber, meet etc ,with teenagers and other adults, to help make the internet safer?

They have entire departments dedicated to doing that.
However, as helpful as that may be, I really don't think they should be monitoring our chat logs. It's your personal decision to talk with strangers, and if you're not smart enough to keep your address and phone number ANONYMOUS, that's your business.
