I know each message does but the time you are on does it? like if you turn it on when you go to sleep does it cost money while it is signed on to aim with no one i/m ing you

aim does not cost anything to run no matter how long you stay on for, also the messages you send to each other do not cost anything to send either, it is totally free to have and use, the only messages that cost anything are if you are sending im,s to cell phones

A.I.M From AOL costs NO money I downloaded it from A.I.M.com and it was fully free forever but i did not ever talk to a phone on it but i did use a mic. on it still free then.... Yes still free when you r idle but don't forget to change your status to idle
