My company is sending an html newsletter in French. We have set our mail to go out using UTF-8 encoding (as we believe this is the correct encoding for displaying characters with accents). We are viewing the email in various email clients. The email is fine in Outlook but the characters appear corrupt when viewed in Yahoo mail and blueyonder mail (now Virgin Media). I've changed my browser settings to display UTF-8 but still the characters with accents appear wrong. Any ideas on how we can get French characters to display correctly on all mail clients? Thanks!

And please don't tell me the same old BS I've seen as answers to essentially the same question. I think I must have installed Yahoo Toolbar and then uninstalled it. However, I have tried the Control-Panel -> Internet Options -> General Tab -> Home Page route. Changing the URL for the home page just DOES NOT WORK. I'm tired of www.yahoo.com coming up, it's just too noisy and distracting. http://search.yahoo.com would be much better for me. But I can't even set that. Arg!!!! I almost feel like it's a Yahoo conspiracy, or I have remenants of Yahoo Spyware on my machine! (Ever had spyware that would not allow you to change the default url? Same thing)... So is there some registry utility or somesuch to end this madness? I even tried reinstalling Yahool toolbar, but no good so far.

Ok. I orderd an item from a seller. I waited 1 month, nothing came. I emailed her. No reply. Emailed again, got 15 of the same message, "I didn't receive payment". She did, and it was cashed.
Emailed again. Sent 17 of the same message back. I have sent another one". Then, got it, left NEUTRAL FEEDBACK, saying it took too long.
She left me NEGATIVE saying "sent a second one but buyer still left -", whcih I didn't.
How can I change this? It isn't true anyway!
What can be done?
