I'm assuming you got this as an email from eBay?
IT IS A FRAUDULENT EMAIL!!!
I've started getting them a lot as well. If you know you haven't bid on an item or tried to sell an item, and you get an email from eBay saying otherwise, then likely it is phishing for your information.
Go to ebay.com and sign in. Then click the link for "my ebay". If ebay has sent you an email, then a copy of it will be in your messages folder on the ebay site.
If there is no copy of the email there, then the email was fake and you should report it to ebay.
