Internet - December 2006

hey guys,
here is my problem. Recently i got the blue screeen of death on my computer and my comp was on a static ip address that was manually configured. I just reinstalled the windows on the same partition so all the old files from my computer is still there. Now i just have 2 copies of windows on my C drive. I need to find the file the tells me what my ip address is (if sometihng like that exists). If that isnt possible is it possible to find out what my ip used to be on my wireless routers settings? i use a dlink DL-514 . please help! also my internet provider did not set this up for me, my dads employee did but he isnt able to help me at the moment. much thanks!

Not sure if this is even possible or not. But I am trying to find away, people can post a topic on my web site. Most message boards (Forums) link you to another page just for the message board.

Can a message board be setup like a chat box? If so, could you send me a link to one?

I would like to know a good website which would allow me to input what games I have, compare with others, get reviews, codes , box art etc. Just a decent cataloging website really.

It doesn't have to have all the features listed.But something more user friendly then IGN.

I have this paypal account and which has a vast amount of money in it. Because I sell a lot of things on email. I was sitting at my pc today and saw an email come in saying that I have purchased an LG chocolate fone for $550 and the another email saying that I have now purchased an engagement ring for $3000. I have contacted one of the companies and they have cancelled the order but does any have any ideals what I can do to stop this person doing this? The person is based in Lathieria and I am in England. I have a firewall and my laptop is a few weeks old with a top of the range processor . ( what can I do )

ive installed netzero, and yahoo is my home page. but yahoo mess. likes toi open w/explorer and explorer doesn't like to share the internet for some reason. help! it's driving me nuts. not to mention it's my boyfriends pc and he's out of town. i've got to fix it before he returns.
