but what do people actually think about that wierd guy?

Ebay auctions are about bids but don't bidders have more of a chance to win if they wait till the end or maybe even sniping at the last second? Is there a strategy Im not seeing here with this method by letting their interest been known early on?

I can open any site on Mozilla, except anything linking to a PDF file. I just get an error message saying "[file name] could not be opened because associated helper application does not exist. Change the association in your preferences."

I don't know what they mean. I can't find anything about preferences or PDF files anywhere. I'm assuming you do it from the part where it has "File, Edit, View, Go, etc" but I can't find it. I tried clicking Tools and then Options, but I don't see any option referring to PDF files.

It's kind of annoying having to go back to Internet Explorer just to see a PDF file, or having to save it to the computer and then open it was Adobe.

How can I fix this? Thanks!

PS: It's not that Mozilla and PDFs just aren't comatible; my roommate has been using Mozilla for years and PDFs work fine on her computer. But she can't find that setting to fix it either.

i had a picture for my display background on the computer and all of a sudden it shrunk to a ton of little tile pictures (of that picture). I tried to stretch the picture but that just made it so blurry. Does anyone know why this happened and how i can get the picture back to its normal big file size? it says it is 130X 86 right now and it comes out really small.

Is there a code that will hide your top 8(top friends) on myspace?.....but where people can still click on your view more friends. If there not a code for that is there something similar to it. Thanks

I'm in Canada and I'd really like to open a GMAIL account but my Canada cell phone won't receive the 'text message' that Gmail sends to 'invite' me to use it. I wondered if someone else with a gmail account would do me the honour of inviting me, please ? the phone company says there is no way to trace it.someone is useing our user name and password and logging on outside the home somewhere.the phone company says there is no way on earth to trace it.when these people log on we cant use the internet on even log on.it just happened again today.the same person i think is signing me up for a dateing service and all kinds of stuff.does anyone have any ideas?the lady at phone company said it was comeing from anthor location but she couldnt trace it. can anyone help.thanks

A couple of years ago, a female friend of mine sent me an anonymous email, and the Subject was "I think you're a hottie". She signed up at some website, and they sent the email to me.

Now, I'm trying to find a website that provides this service. I'd like to try it out (I have some friends who want to try it, too).

There is a page entitled: eprotecpage.
That each time I go online this page comes up trying to SELL me Virus Protection.
Norton wont stop it adaware wont stop it. HOW CAN I delete this thing. Drives me crazy. I have tried everything Internet Options, History, Cookies and I cant find it anywhere in my Remove Programs

I mean, really, it's not that much harder to spell correctly. There's even a spell checker, so the computer can fix the mistakes for you! Regrettably, it seems that typing in this moronic shorthand code is growing in popularity. When I read things like " wut do u ppl think i shud do 4 my bff?" it drives me insane!
