A prevalent cyber crime, nowadays, is "phishing", Sir.
Where a hacker can create a web page that looks like the authentic e-Bay web page and has the fields required to fill out with your Credit Card and Bank details.
Once you've done that on a "phishing" page, you've, unfortunately, given the hacker all the details he needs to steal your identity with and then he takes away all your money and even, as has happened, take loans etc., in your name!?
It is always advisable to be very cautious on the Net, Sir.
Have a nice day.

On ebay its actually very safe if you buy something and request
the seller's phone #. Then call him and give it to him over the
phone. You generally have 3-7 days to pay for any purchases.
Alot of sellers include the phone # in their adds but not all. I
personally would "never" send my CC # thru an e-mail.

The way people get your credit card is not from ebay itself, but a trojan on your computer. As long as you have a good antivirus or know you didnt download a trojan, ebay is 99.999997% safe

you are able to if the person helps it. i do no longer reccomend it although. you're giving a random individual your card quantity. Paypal is the main secure thank you to pass, that's a third party so the broker by no ability sees your card quantity. you ought to use your debit card via ability of fee for Paypal.

I wouldn't take my chances, don't trust online shopping no more, my dad had an identity theft problem, some dude in Florida stole his identity and never got caught, but we later found out he died in a car crash, I'm so glad, don't shop online!
