I had before Explorer 6,but right after I installed Ex-7 the "Favorites" option disapeared.Can I retrieve the "favorites" list I had before on Ex-6 ?.Thanks a lot. Ele.

My friend sent me a link over msn and when I try to save it it creates a file that is a 'shortcut to MS-DOS program'. When I double click it it asks me if I want to run it or cancel it. It describes it as pic2038.pif. Can anyone tell me what this is? I am thinking its not a virus since a very good friend sent it to me.

It seems that you can only establish a link to the top of an article. But what if you want to link to a specific section lower down in an article? Using the full URL doesn't seem right, and using # in the link like you would in HTML links doesn't seem to work.

Why would someone put you on their friends list on Myspace or Facebook one night and then take you off a few hours later the next day. I know the person but we only took a few classes together and I haven't seen the person for a few motnhs. I really wasn't sure I would get accepted. Still I would've rather have gotten denied than put on and then taken off.
