Now I cant hear but my friend who calls them for me and who has perfect hearing says they are almost illegiable

(p.s. the spell checker didnt like "Vonage" but had no issue at all with "wonage". Go fig.)

I was online chating and someone sent me a text asking me if my disc drive just opened up, and true enough as i looked down it was open. then I was just about to do a virus scan and the person texted me saying "no need to run a virus scan you already have a virus" He wanted me to flash him on my webcam and he would remove the virus. He could see everthing that was on my screen. Have this happened to anyone and if so how was he able to do this?

This is a computer that has been working properly and connecting to the Internet for about three years now, same settings. There are two computers connecting via a cable/dsl router, and the other computer still connect to the Net without problems (I am using it now).

I have no clue what happened. All I can even think is that I had done routine Windows updates that day, and at some point I denied a file access to the Internet, as I didn't recognize it. A mistake, I guess. :(

I have tried resetting TCP/IP, and I have made sure it's there on the connection (1394) and enabled. I tried reconfiguring the entire network from scratch, and I tried a system restore from a week ago hoping I could bypass the problem that way. Automatic detection for IP settings is also a go. So far, no luck. Please help?

i wanted to upload a photo as my answers avatar, i created a 360 account, uploaded my picture, and set it as primary, yet in the edit my info on yahoo answers, it still says no 360 picture, why is this, how can i ger my photo as my avatar

Whenever I go to play a game that uses the internet connection, it will work fine for a couple moments. After about 5 minutes, my computer will rev up, and the connection will be dropped. The funny thing is that my computer appears to think that the connection is still active, though it is unable to download anything. When I check the phone line, it is as if I had disconnected normally (I am able to make normal calls on it.) If I'm fast enough, I can reconnect and play normally while my computer is "revving", but I lose my connection in the same way as soon as it stops. I have already upgraded the drivers for my modem via windows update.

- I have already attempted to lower my connection speed.
- I have already unplugged everything from every phone line save my modem.
- I don't have call waiting.
- I am not hitting any idle timers of any kind.
- I have already lowered my buffer.
- I have already defragged.

If you're willing to help out, and need more info, I'll supply it.
