Internet - June 2006

I have DSL. I am totally frustrated for weeks. I had tried everything to upgrade my Windows Media Player. It does not work. What am I doing wrong? Specifically could you please explain what should I do with my Windows Media Player to make it work? How can I make the player for me to see the video on the screen with sound without any blanks?

I have a home laptop that is wifi compatible but havent't researched how to use it that way. I've been using a dialup connection thru AOL (my home use is limited) I just noticed an icon telling me I'm connected to the internet wirelessly, logged out of AOL & sure enough - I'm still on! The connection is weak in the back of the house & very strong in the front. Am I using a neighbor's connection? Is my laptop security compromised?

upon trying to forward the email to two addresses I was told the message was not available - when I went back to my mail it still showed 10 incoming messages but I still could not forward the first one, ried again bet all 10 incoming messages were gone

Thanks for the first answer about yahoo. How do I reinstall javascript? Or what happened that all of a sudden buttons not working? My yahoo was working fine until yesterday.
