try hitting escape or enter...depends on the program
EDIT: Whoops...you're talking about IE. I just did it. Click on the minimize (restore) thing by the (X) that closes your screen. Mine went right back.

If you're using any media player, simply press ESC.
Press F11 if you're using IE. I thought you're using any media player.
