We are connected via Linksys router to Cable modem. We have two Win PCs and a MAC attached to the router. The MAC does not disconnect. The PCs are running Win PRO XP

The problem started about a month or so ago.After using the Internet for 15 minutes or so the Internet connection just stops. We then have to reboot the PC and then the connection starts again.

We had the motherboard of the PC replaced but the problem continues. To us it seems that after using the Internet for some time some "pipe" is being filled up and by rebooting it clears the pipe.

We would really apprecaite it if someone, who is knowledgebale in this area could give us some suggestions.

does anyone know how to get firefox. i used to have firefox but i installed it cuz it wasnt working well, i dont know why . i tried the mozilla website but the everytime i click the link to download it just sends me somewhere else. if someone has a different way to download firefox could you please tell me, thank you in advance if you can help me.

i think it is IE (internet explorer) thats not letting me download it. can someone please help me out.

We need help right away. Last night our computer went nuts. Spybot and Spyware bot can't clean up all of the adware and spyware. The list of parasites includes: Windows.activeDesktop, Windows.explorer, Brave Sentry, Spy Sheriff, smithfraud - C, tibs.vq. There are many others. Both spyware programs will list what is on the computer, but then say they have to close before completing the program.

We can't open any of our documents and can only get to our homepage on Internet Explorer.

Something called a "Modem Event Monitor" keeps popping up, but I know it is bogus too.

What can we do? Please don't answer if you don't know. We need serious help.

Should we try if we can to uninstall everything on our computer including Windows and Internet Explorer?

Does Anyone know the difference between the free version of Ad-aware on download.com or the pay version through lavasoft? Does the pay version have more options? I just got rid of some very problematic malware and do not want anymore so If the pay version is better than I want it! Thanks

I had on the top an icon of a home for clicking onto my home page;
for yahoo, now that is also gone.
I'am thinking perhaps netzero did away with it so i would only use
their tool-bar.

Pursuit Of Justice is a computer game where you are a detective and you have to study a Murder Case. I am interested in the game, but before i buy it, i want to try a trial, just to see if its too gorey or something.
