Hey,
i am going on the motorway tomorrow for the first time, the journey should take about an hour but i am dreading it. I hate it when u enter a motorway.. any confidence boosters would be a great help, i am going on M40 junction 1 and than getting on M25 Junction 16, than continuing on M25 and exiting on Junction 21a to enter M1 because i need to go to milton keynes. I know i have to get off at junction 14 but still am nervous.
I know i sound crazy. Please whatever u think off me i need your help. I have been driving for 3 years and have been a good driver no accidents touch wood. I am going on the motorway on my own tomorrow because on saturday will have to take family there so im practising on my own.

Thank u

Usually 40mph. They do it on 60 limits then when they get into a 30 they stay at 40?

Makes me mad!

What does "v" stand for? I know that V8 engines are more efficient than v6, or any thing less. How do more Vs make an engine more efficient?

Following on from my last question about speed limits someone made a good point about old people which I agree with.

How about every 5 years from the age of 60? Sight and reactions tested too?

So often I see accients or near misses caused by people driving at under 50mph on the motorway or dual carriage way (both with 70mph limits). This is even more dangerous when there are only 2 lanes!

Oh and people 'enforcing' the 70mph limit ont he outside lane are dangerous too!

I think if your not capable to drive at speed then u shouldn't be allowed on the motorway.

What do u think?

My friend and I are opening a shop that does automotive and marine canvas and upholstery. His name is Steve and I am Ron. The thing is we want to keep it simple to write on checks for our customers. We like the idea of starting it with an "A" so we are listed first in the phone book. We want it to describe our business. Most people ask how to spell "upholstery" and in the industry most of us refer to ourselves as Trimmers but I don't think most people know what a trim shop is. Any advice would be apreciated.

In another countries that do not allow DWIs? For example if a DWI is forbidden in another country would a person with a DWI still be able to drive in Austratlia or the UK? Example Mel Gibson or what if someone killed someone in the USA in a DWI?

This came in during the late 50/ early 60s (I think) when cars on average went about 40mph flat out. Now cars are safet stronger and have better brakes.
100mph would be a bit more like it.
