I am looking to pack up my car to move to Florida from Pennsylvania. I drive a Honda Civic, which does not have a roof rack. Does anyone have any suggestions on doing a cargo container without damaging my car? Does it exist and where can I find it?

It came with a 1997 BMW Z3 that I recently bought. I am assuming the alarm was installed by the first owner (unknown) which makes the alarm about 10 years old as well. Can't find the control unit, the cutoff swicth, and the valet light is always lit. Keyless won't work either. Looking for a reset button somewhere.

Simple physics cant explain why a car accelerates faster from a complete stop (0-60mph) than a "rolling start" (5-60mph). Can somebody explain? For all you skeptics out there who say this isnt true I have gathered this data from Car & Driver.
0-60 mph 5-60 mph
2004 Acura TSX 7.2 sec 7.7 sec
2006 Corvette Z06 3.6 sec 4.3 sec

If you still dont believe me I challenge you to look up these stats for ANY car in ANY magazine!

ok, i'm 16, i passed my driver's test, bought my sister's car, and my parents wont let me drive it. I said i'd pay for insurance, gas, and repairs, and they still wont let me drive because "its not time" and "having a car is too expensive". the thing is, i have a job, and school. Having a car is not for kicks, i NEED it, and i hate depending on people for rides.
Parents, what did your children say to convince you for a ride
Kids, have any advice of what would get them?

Not a highway or interstate. Someone told me it was Broad Street in Philadelphia but I don't buy that due to City Hall interrupting Broad Street in the middle. I've heard Colfax Ave. in Denver, Figueroa in LA, and even Broadway in NY. None of these I was able to get more than an unofficial "I heard such and such is the longest street in the US". Not very definitive.

you bought one because its higher up, therefore safer. .....for you. your vehicle being higher up than others puts everyone else at risk...so youre the reason the highways are dangerous.

i dont own one because i dont want to contribute to the problem. yes, i can afford one, lol....bfd...ameircan cars are a joke...and the world agrees
enjoy your fill-ups.

I live in New England, and I'm thinking about getting a new car in the next few months. We have plenty of snow and ice, more than most people in the country, so I want something that isn't too pricey, drives like a sports car but I won't slide all over the place in during winter....

What qualify's a car as a luxury car?
Is there a price range luxury cars start at?
The Chrysler 300c has alot of luxury, but it costs less than $40,000. Not to mention the fact that it looks like almost everyone has this car now. Even working class, lower-middle class people.
I would assume all luxury cars begin above $50,000

Now that GM and Ford have updated their entire SUV truck line with GPS, Nav radios, powerful engines, and heated/cooled seats... trucks like the $40,000 Expedition and $40,000 Tahoe are comparable in features to the Navigator and Escalade.

So where is the line between luxury cars and sub-models?
