Depending on the year make and model of the vehicle, it can be an easy thing to do, or almost (not quite) impossible. If you have AAA or another roadside assistance program, they will come out and help you. You could also check with the fire and police departments (on the non emergency number DO NOT CALL 911) to see if they can assist you.

You may also be able to get a key cut from the dealer, or you man need the assistance of a locksmith!!

Good luck!!

Find someone with a slim jim or call a locksmith (call a few and see what they charge), you can use a metal hanger but that can mess up your car (just slightly), you make it into a hook and try to slide it in through where the window comes out, and latch it onto the lock, pull up. Good luck.

A wire coat hanger.

Take it bend it in to a hair clip shape. then bend it over to ap shape so it has like a finger going back towards the hairpin.

Push the window in to get a gap between the weather trim and the window. insert the wire coathager. Now push the coathanger down. Then bring it up and try to get the the bent part up on the otherside of the window.
Use the bend of the finger to try to flip the doorlock button or, try to push the door unlock button for electric doors.

Unless you have done it before, It is best to call a locksmith. If you mess up the rubber window seal, or something in the door, you will cost yourself more than a locksmith would. If you have roadside assistance on your car or on your cell phone, they will send someone out.

There is another way but I don't suggest it if you don't already know about it. It's called a slim-jim (not the eatable kind either) or coat hanger. I will not explain because it will really screw your door up if you don't know what you are doing.
