something in the glove box is jamming it , I would suggest a thin piece of metal to slide in between the door and th dash and try to push whatever is holding it back

you can turn the latch,,or the button on it,,and take a plastic knife,,or something really stiff,,and put it in the crack,,and sort of pry down on it,,this will make it release it probably has a piece of paper stuck in it,,mine did that ,,and it was the owners manual that caused it to get hung up,,just be care full and don't pry to hard,and it will come open,,good luck with it,,i hope this help,s.

you could always try WD-40 around the lock. I was trying to change my windshield wipers, and they were so old that the plastic clip that holds the blade to the arm was starting to melt together. a little WD-40, and some needle-nose plyers is all it took.

Its not really that hard but if u force the latch and pull it really hard with a tool it'll pop open.. B'sides that u could get a mechanic to do it but its not worth the charge..

Have you tried WD40 in the locking mechanisim?
