I have found a car I like.... the seller met me in London, not at his address, and everything was perfect as fas as the car was concerned. What's the best way of exchanging money for car? is there a secure way, or do I have to pay into his account and risk him never showing up while the money clears? never done it before. Also what forms and stuff do I NEED TO FILL IN? any suggestions welcomed

Have any of you moved from L.A. to NYC (or in reverse, or of similar distances)? I've heard that I shouldn't take anything big, especially furniture, because it is prohibitively expensive, but I love my stuff so I'd like to bring some of it.

I would like to hear about any moves people have made recently. What did you take and how much did it cost? Any recommendations for cheaper ways to do this? Thanks for any advice.
