I was wondering if it was possible to fit a 1972 Opel Rekord D Station Wagon with a V8 engine like a Ford 335 or a Chevy 350?
I feel a car like this would be pretty darn cool to have as a utility vehicle for my painting and decorating firm. I'm just not sure if such an engine would fit or if anyone has even tried something like this. Any tips would be great.
If it is possible I think I'll give it a try, the ol' weekend hobby.
Thanks for the help,
Bart.

My Corsa has been lowered 40mm and I have 15" alloys, the arches are scraping my tyres everytime I go over a bump or pothole. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can fix this?? I suspect it has something to do with the suspension or the tyre itself may be too big.

Just looking for a nearly new car and cant decide on a Golf or an Astra. Read good reviews on the Astra, and its cheaper, but always put off Vauxhall's cuz they are just boring and crap quality. Anyone got a latest Astra?

Why do Vauxhall make rubbish cars? I had a drive of an Astra and didn't like it. I had a Corsa a few years ago and it was an awful car.
Why don't they take a look at Fords, VWs and Renaults for example and build a car that is NICE TO DRIVE?

We're looking at buying one next week - Astra Edition, 5-door, 1.6 TWINPORT ECOTEC. If anyone went with the IDS chassis (Interactive Driving System) option, was it worth the extra? Thanks!
