My bumper will be in a bodyshop having extension fitted and sprayed onto it, can i drive my car legally while bumper is off???

It's a vauxhall vectra. It' basically a big plastic skin really

If theres any sharp protrusions that could injure pedestrians etc then yes you are asking to be pulled,bumpers are energy absorbing thus transferring energy in a collision.so they are a legal requirement,your insurance could even be invalidated if you were in a bump,in the eyes of the law it would be classed as unsafe for use on a public road.don,t do it!aint worth it.

I don't know if it's legal, but come to Chicago. You'll see it more often than you think. I love my city , but some of us will drive anything to gets you from point A to point B. :)

As long as all rear tail light/turn signals and license plate and plate marker light are present, it is OK in Ca.

Most Opel's are driven that way...........

It doesn't take long for the bits to fall off. Esp on an Opel.
