I was wondering if it was possible to fit a 1972 Opel Rekord D Station Wagon with a V8 engine like a Ford 335 or a Chevy 350?
I feel a car like this would be pretty darn cool to have as a utility vehicle for my painting and decorating firm. I'm just not sure if such an engine would fit or if anyone has even tried something like this. Any tips would be great.
If it is possible I think I'll give it a try, the ol' weekend hobby.
Thanks for the help,
Bart.

Keep it GM locate a LS-1 or LS-2 5.7 liter or 6.0 liter engine transmission ecm and wiring harness. then use a shortened width ford nine inch rear axle to handle the power. The later model LS-2 has 400 hp and all aluminum probably weighs little more than the engine you will be taking out. Decorating will become a Drag Racing Hobby
