american automakers do not look critical to their outmoded engine concept....maybe japanese automakers can be focused on that subject.....

It's been doing this for awhile after I put in a new air freshner(probably not the air freshner considering the old one's like two months old)...it's one of those things you attach onto your A/C vent...and I kept the old one around because it's a smiley face and it makes me happy. Whatever besides that could it be something inside the vent that smells weird? I'm pretty sure it's coming from the A/C vent since I don't have any clothing or anything like that in the car. Could it be an indication that something's wrong? If it indeed is the vent, then how do I make it stop smelling funny? By the way I have a 98 Camry LE. Thanks.

Although both the battery and Alternator are fine (got them checked at Auto Zone), the battery still drains out even though it is charged for 15-20 mins. Any help is appreciated...

Also, this car makes more than normal engine noise when it runs (has 149k miles) although it does not have running problems. I guess engine is not tuned properly...any ideas on this as well???

I'm going to major in business marketing. Anyway, the Toyota Supra is supposed to be coming out again in 2008. I'm thinking of dropping a gem on Toyota to help them market the Supra. I have this weird imagination, my family and everybody who knows me personally know this. However, people dig it! They feel what I feel because it's real. Genuine, authentic. It's my soul. Anyway, here's my idea to Toyota. In the back ground, there's the universe and solar system, on a rising platform that covers the whole screen except the universe and planets in the background sits the New 2008 Toyota Supra. It will say in the commercial "The Future is Near", and the music to put it all together and make it so amazing will be the opening to the musical theme to the old Atari game "Galaga".I'm talking when the game starts. Ah, man! People would go crazy when they would see a commercial like this. Anybody who has connections. Use this. I don't care if I don't get to pocket the money. Damn good commercial

My husband and I want to get a used car, for very basic transportation, and the Echo is one we are considering, due to Toyota reputation, and good gas mileage. Any comments from Toyota owners?

I own a 1999 Toyota Camry (4 cyl) and recently I changed the radiator. Ever since then, my mileage has gone down. Prior to the change, I used to get around 30+ mpg on the hiway and 23-24 miles in the city. Now, I get an average of 22 miles, after filling up, and I've driven on both highway and city roads. Any suggestions as to what may have happened? and what can be done to fix this? Can something on the gas lines be messed around with? I'm thinking of talking to my mechanic but I wanted an opinion. I know there are some really knowledgeable people here. Thanks in advance for your help.

I called the Toyota store and they said that it was $220.63 for a new one, and that the part number is 22270-75040. I want one a little cheaper. But I can't find one on eBay! I did, however, find one that replaces Toyota part numbers 22270-7471, 22270-74291, and 22270-74090. Is this close enough? Will it work if I buy it?
