only an idiot would cut springs to lower a car its really unsafe. If you want to waste money on an old bomb buy proper shorten springs, better to buy a more sporty car with your money

91 corollas are the bomb - i just love them - i wouldn't cut the springs however i would recommend getting coil overs which you can adjust the height and readjust when you are ready - they cost maybe $89 plus shipping from california - just go to ebay and search. Do you have rims ? you can also get crystal headlamps with projectors and crystal side marker lamps and also crystal tail lamps that are DOT approved (LEGAL for street use) also you have available crystal side marker lamps with blue led that you drill a small hole in fender and it sticks with two sided tape, rear spoiler , euro antenna, lighted toyota emblem - wow modifications are plenty also you can change the engine to a japanese domestic vehicle called "TOYOTA LEVIN" which also comes turbo...

Are you trying to make it into a racing corolla? If not leave it the way it is. If you need to change them cause there is a problem that is fine.

You can probably cut them, but no more than 2 inches. Use a saw and don't get them hot. You would be better off getting some already shorter. I've seen them pretty cheap on eBay..

reducing the coil springs isn't a sturdy thought, it is going to effect the trip and coping with very badly. you need to purchase coil springs with the comparable quantity of "spring" yet 2" shorter. you should additionally substitute the shocks to verify.

NO WAY! u need sport suspenssion (the springs are tighter) but this way your car becomes very stiff
